I love to paint realism, then I also love to paint abstract. So, when I asked myself 'what would happen if I combined the two'? This was the result!
'Woman' is a figure born of nature. She gathers her resources and wisdom from the world around her. From the earth and the sea and the sky. When she asks a question, to which she needs an answer: from somewhere the answer arrives. From this unknown realm it spins and tumbles towards her with color and life and energy. And so her dress, is scaled from the sea and her gentle face is filled with the knowledge that both suffering and joy bring.
This is my celebration of womanhood.
